While a lot of young designers start their education on the computer, at Conestoga we went through an entire year (for the most part) without touching a computer. While it may not have seemed that fun at the time, I look back on it with fond memories. I loved the focus on detail and the way I could use simple supplies to create something so realistic. It may not be practical, but the methods of days gone by can be quite beautiful.
Earlier in the week I was reading an article about traditional methods of typography, designers are unnecessary when there are letterers with such beautiful typography.
